Spencewuah (real name Spencer Hunt) is a TikTok star who’s had a very productive 2020. His following has grown exponentially over the past few months. In late June 2020, he was at 1.8 million followers, and six months later, he boasts 7.6 million followers. Spencewuah’s growth can mainly be attributed to his comedic prowess and collaborations with established stars such as Charli D’Amelio.

Spencewuah’s TikTok fame has also spread to other social media platforms such as Instagram (732K followers) and Twitter (109.1K followers).

Spencewuah has never tried to hide his gay sexuality from his followers. As such, he doesn’t have a coming out story synonymous with other gay influencers. He has always been out and proud of it.

Sadly, despite the numerous strides made by the LGBTQ+ movement to promote equality and acceptance, Spencewuah still receives insults due to his sexuality. “So, I’ve officially been called a faggot 5 times since landing in LA yesterday,” Spencewuah tweeted on 29th June 2020.

The insults rarely affect Spencewuah – in fact, they make him more appreciative of who he is. On 20th November 2020, he posted several photos and a video of himself in a skirt alongside the caption: “This post is dedicated to Candace Owens and all the conservative Republicans who sent me death threats yesterday because I wear skirts.”

“Bitch… I officially have a boyfriend,” Spencewuah announced via Twitter in early December 2020. However, he kept the identity of his boyfriend a secret until after Christmas.

Spencewuah first posted Luis Bergin on Instagram before the couple made their TikTok debut. Luis Bergin is also a social media star boasting over 450K followers on TikTok.
